VC Simulation: DoseOptics LLC
Bill Ware Th'94 After short stints with larger, established companies, Proctor & Gamble, and Amgen, Bill caught the bug for start-ups and has spent the last 20 years nurturing them from proof of concept through commercial execution and global growth. Bill spent time inventing (or co-inventing) more than 30 patents and have managed teams of 40+ employees across the U.S., Asia, and Europe. I have launched over 20 patented products in various industries ranging from pharmaceutical, oil and gas, textiles, and medical devices. As is the norm for small companies, I’ve worn many hats, including leadership roles in product development, fundraising, strategic planning, business development, commercialization, marketing, and sales. Most recently, he co-founded DoseOptics LLC, based on radiation therapy imaging technology pioneered at Thayer School with Prof. Brian Pogue, and Scott Davis.
